I’m just saying… Jesus flipped tables!!
Why do people believe that we, as believers, are supposed to be nice and just put up with their crap?
On my healing journey, and in my life, I have been made to feel like a shell of myself—constantly putting on a brave face while people said and did whatever they wanted, and I faced them with a smile.
People will tell you their beliefs and opinions and get mad when you do the same.
I am in a place where getting to know who I am in Christ also means finding my voice and the personality I lost along the way.
When did we start to cower? Why do we feel that being nice is the way to be?
We are to be bold as lions. I don’t see any lions hiding behind bushes or in corners.
Let your light shine so that men may see. And if that means flipping a few tables, being vocal, getting your point across, and standing your ground, then so be it.
I’m not becoming someone I’m not. I’m simply becoming who God created me to be. !
